Molasses Cookies
PREP: 30 min. COOK: 14 minutes BAKE: 375º
Ingredients (cookies)
1 1/2 cups butter floavored shortening
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup molasses
2 extra large eggs
4 cups flour (slightly packed)
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ginger

Ingredients (frosting)
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 - 1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons milk

Directions
1. Cream butter flavored shortening and sugar together. Add molasses and eggs while mixing.

2. Combine dry ingredients to the creamed mixture.

3. Roll into balls (see image example) and then roll the balls in sugar. Bake at 375º for 14 minutes.

4. Let cool, then drizzle with frosting.
